Ungodly Enhanced Weather & Emissions

Living volumetric fog, driving rain, vehicle exhaust, real wind, multi-stage lightning and emission blowouts that hit like a punch.

DLL  StixWeatherEmissions.dll VERSION  v1.0.2 SIZE  31 KB CONFIG  none

It takes the weather and emission systems already in the game and cranks every one up to eleven — living fog, driving rain you can feel, exhaust pouring out of every vehicle, lightning that actually lights up the world, and radiation blowouts that hit like a punch to the gut.

It runs entirely in the background. Nothing to set up, no menus, no console — drop it in and play. It layers on top of the game's own weather every frame and cleanly removes its own contribution each time, so nothing builds up wrong and your saves are completely safe.

FETWhat it does

Feature rundown

Everything listed here is fully implemented and wired to a confirmed game field — no stubs, no placeholders.

  • Living volumetric fog. Rolls in at dawn and dusk, thickens at night, gets heavier and colder in rain, goes thick and sickly during emissions, and reacts to temperature.
  • Vehicle exhaust & emissions. Cold-start puffs, idle wisps, heavy black soot under load, and toxic-green contaminated exhaust during emissions — all drifting on the wind.
  • Rain you can feel. Wind-driven mist, ground vapour off warm surfaces, and intensity that breathes between drizzle and downpour.
  • Dynamic wind. A prevailing wind that shifts across the day, building gusts and squalls, ramping up hard during storms and emissions — and pushing every speck of smoke and dust.
  • Lightning & thunder overhaul. Multi-stage flashes synced to the game's own thunder, striking more often the worse the storm gets, poisoned colours during emissions.
  • Emission blowouts. A shockwave on start, recurring radiation pulses, drifting fallout motes, a building camera tremor and a sky that darkens, fogs and flashes.
INSInstall

Add this mod

BepInEx must already be installed and run once (see Foundation). Then it's a single DLL into plugins\.

  1. Download & extract

Grab StixWeatherEmissions_v1_0_2.rar and extract it. Inside is the plugin file StixWeatherEmissions.dll.

  2. Open BepInEx\plugins\

Inside your No Man's Home folder, go to BepInExplugins.

  3. Drop in StixWeatherEmissions.dll

Copy that one DLL into plugins\, flat alongside any other mods. That's the whole install.

    BepInEx\plugins\ — after copy
     BepInEx\plugins\
       StixWeatherEmissions.dll # 31 KB · Ungodly Enhanced Weather & Emissions
  4. Launch once

Start the game. The plugin loads and goes to work immediately — there's nothing to configure. It's balanced to feel right straight out of the box.

Notes & technical detail

  • No configuration, no menus, no commands — everything self-balances against the live weather and time of day. Performance-minded: extra particles stay in a bubble around you and fade with distance.
REMRemoval

Uninstall this mod

Mods are independent — removing one never affects the others or BepInEx itself.

  1. Delete the DLL

Remove StixWeatherEmissions.dll from BepInEx\plugins\. On the next launch the mod is simply gone.

  2. Optional cleanup

There's nothing else to clean up — this mod writes no config or save files. Deleting the DLL is the complete uninstall.
